This position is responsible for the providing effective instruction for the Electroneuro diagnostic Technology curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Provides didactic and/or clinical instruction as assigned by the program director
  • Maintains accurate scholastic records of students enrolled in classes and submits required reports to the Program Director and to the registrar
  • Prepares thoroughly for each instructional hour
  • Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner
  • Selects learning experiences that facilitate the student attainment of course student learning outcomes
  • Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance
  • Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment
  • Grades and returns student work in a timely manner
  • Counsels students regarding their grades and progress in the course
  • Organizes and maintains laboratory facilities including physical facilities, equipment, and materials in a clean, neat, operating condition, when applicable
  • Maintains current certifications/license/credentials to practice in their profession/modality
  • Utilizes a variety of instructional evaluation methods considering learning styles and teaching/learning theory
  • Supervises and evaluates student clinical/lab performance
  • Performs course documentation duties for those courses assigned
  • Maintains current knowledge of program policies, procedures and student progress.
  • Maintains confidentiality of student records and grades

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in EDT or related health/science field
  • Appropriate ABRET credential(s) specific to courses taught (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM)
  • Two years professional experience as a Electroneuro diagnostic Technologist in the modalities taught
  • Teaching/Precepting experience
Preferences
  • Bachelor’s degree in EDT or related health/science field
  • Additional credential(s) within the neurodiagnostic profession
  • Five years professional experience as a Electroneuro diagnostic Technologist in the modalities taught
  • Two years Teaching/Precepting experience
