Exceptional leaders understand that success is defined not by personal achievement, but by the accomplishments of those they develop.
If your background includes building teams that excel, guiding individuals to surpass targets, and operating in settings where high performance is non-negotiable, this position provides an opportunity to leverage that expertise in service of the next generation.
At Alpha, students do not sit through traditional lectures. They advance academically through adaptive technology, while Guides concentrate on coaching, accountability, motivation, and essential life skills. As a Lead Guide, your role is to develop the team that executes this model—mentoring Guides, cultivating leaders, and fostering an environment in which students routinely surpass expectations.
This is neither an instructional coaching position nor a traditional classroom teaching role. You will not review lesson plans or observe lectures, because they do not exist in this model. Instead, your focus will be on building a culture of excellence through Guide coaching, facilitating impactful life skills workshops, and inspiring students to pursue ambitious objectives. Performance will be evaluated based on student experience quality, team outcomes, and your capacity to uphold rigorous standards while motivating others to meet them.
Alpha is constructing the premier K-12 educational experience in the world. This mission requires leaders who have already demonstrated their ability to elevate others' performance, make decisions grounded in objective data, and champion innovative approaches rather than defend outdated conventions. If this resonates with you, we welcome the conversation.
This position is available at select Alpha campuses:
Greenwich, CT;
Boca Raton, FL;
Miami, FL;
Miami Beach, FL;
Boston, MA;
Raleigh, NC;
New York City, NY;
Orange County, CA; and Santa Barbara, CA.
