Lecturer

The Department of Education Leadership, Policy, and Human Development (ELPHD) in the College of Education is accepting applications for the position of Lecturer – Professional Track Faculty (part-time) for the 2026 – 2027 Academic Year. Professional track Faculty positions do not carry rank and are one-semester or one-year, with the possibility of renewal. Successful candidates will teach 1-3 courses on the undergraduate or graduate curriculum, depending on the department's needs.

Teaching is in one of the following areas:
Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, Higher Education, Community College Leadership, Adult and Lifelong Education, Counseling and Counselor Education. This position will remain open through the end of the academic year; however, we will be screening applicants on an ongoing basis.

Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the organization and evolving priorities.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Requires master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest. A terminal degree is required to teach at the graduate level.

- Excellent teaching ability. A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.

Preferred Qualifications
- College teaching experience. Demonstrated Experience in Educational Leadership.
