The Montessori School of Raleigh (MSR) seeks an Elementary Spanish Specialist for the school year beginning August 6, 2026. Under the general direction of the Elementary Director, the ideal candidate will provide Spanish language instruction for students ages 6-12 within a Montessori environment for elementary students. The Elementary Spanish Specialist will support each child in developing Spanish language skills and cultural understanding while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love of language learning in a prepared environment.
This position will also support the Elementary After School Care program on a daily basis.

- Upper Elementary students (15 months - grade

- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Spanish, Education, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred - Minimum three years of teaching experience in Spanish or world language instruction at the elementary level (ages 6-12)
- Montessori credential not required, but preferred

- Prepare, maintain, and supervise an Elementary Montessori environment in which materials and learning experiences are developmentally appropriate and support Spanish language acquisition for students ages 6-12
- Deliver established Elementary Spanish scope and sequence, ensuring alignment with the School’s curriculum standards
- Adhere to all MSR health and safety best-practice policies, ensuring a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate learning environment, proper duty of care, and documentation
