Open Rank Non-Tenure Track Teaching Positions - Graphic Design, Experience Design & Industrial

Essential Job Duties

The Department of Graphic Design and Industrial Design is accepting applications for part‑time non‑tenure‑track faculty appointments for one‑semester, one‑year, two‑year, or three‑year appointments, with the possibility of renewal. Positions encompass the following, with rank to be determined based on education and professional experience:
Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor. Specific teaching opportunities include studios at all levels, including advanced comprehensive studios and/or special topic seminar courses.

Other duties as assigned.

Master of Graphic Design, Master of Experience Design, or Industrial Design accredited professional degree with professional practice in Graphic Design, Experience Design, or Industrial Design, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

OR

Terminal degree in a field relevant to the specific area of instruction (i.e., graphic design, experience design, industrial design) with professional practice in that related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in the professional field.
• Demonstrated competency with a mix of traditional and leading‑edge technologies.

• Experience in teaching at the college level is preferred.
