Effective leaders understand that success isn't defined by personal achievement—it's measured by the accomplishments of those they lead.
If your background includes building exceptional teams, elevating individual performance through coaching, and operating in settings where high standards are non-negotiable, this role provides an opportunity to channel those capabilities toward developing the next generation.
Alpha students don't spend their time in traditional lectures. They advance academically through adaptive technology, while Guides concentrate on coaching, accountability, motivation, and teaching essential life skills. As a Lead Guide, your mission is to develop the team that brings this model to life—mentoring Guides, cultivating emerging leaders, and establishing an environment where students routinely surpass expectations.
This is neither an instructional coaching position nor a conventional teaching role. You won't be reviewing lesson plans or observing lectures—those don't exist here. Instead, your focus will be building a culture rooted in excellence: coaching your team of Guides, facilitating dynamic life skills workshops, and inspiring students toward ambitious achievement. Performance will be evaluated through the quality of student experiences, team effectiveness, and your capacity to uphold rigorous standards while motivating others to reach them.
Alpha is constructing the world's premier K-12 educational experience. That mission demands leaders who have already demonstrated the ability to elevate others' performance, make decisions grounded in objective data, and champion innovative approaches rather than defend legacy systems. If this resonates with your experience, we're eager to connect.
This position is presently available at select Alpha campuses:
Greenwich, CT;
Boca Raton, FL;
Miami, FL;
Miami Beach, FL;
Boston, MA;
Raleigh, NC;
New York City, NY;
Orange County, CA; and Santa Barbara, CA.
If you reside in one of these areas—or are open to relocation—we welcome your application. Outstanding candidates from other locations are equally encouraged to apply. As Alpha continues its expansion, we frequently align exceptional leaders with emerging opportunities throughout our growing campus network.
