Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a part-time Music Teacher to provide engaging private and group lessons in our retail store. You'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create lesson plans, prepare students for performances and school programs, and track progress. Collaborating with store staff, you'll support rentals, accessories, and events that promote music education. The ideal candidate has strong performance and teaching skills, excellent communication, and a passion for helping students grow in a supportive, student-focused environment committed to community and music education.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Develop and follow structured lesson plans aligned with student goals
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school-related events
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, accessories, and lesson enrollment
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Support in-store events that promote music education and community engagement
