Poole College of Management has six academic departments:
Accounting;
Economics;
Finance;
Information Technology, Analytics and Operations (ITAO);
Marketing;
Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (MIE). We offer bachelor’s degrees in accounting, business administration, and economics; master’s degrees in accounting, business administration (MBA), economics, and management (including specialized degrees); as well as joint doctoral degrees in economics and operations research. Among our non-degree programs, we offer Executive Education and graduate certificates.

The college houses six initiatives fostering research, learning, and corporate engagement:
Business Analytics Initiative, Business Sustainability Collaborative, Enterprise Risk Management Initiative, Entrepreneurship Clinic, Entrepreneurship Collaborative, and Supply Chain Resource Cooperative. The college is fully accredited by the AACSB.

The Department of Information Technology, Analytics, and Operations in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We seek collaborative and innovative scholars specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service.

Position Responsibilities

• Teaching
  :
  Deliver high-quality instruction in Operations and Supply Chain Management at both the undergraduate and graduate (including MBA) levels, in online and in-person formats. Courses may include topics such as operations management, purchasing and supply management, logistics management, operations modeling and analysis, or supply chain management.
• Research
  :
  Develop and maintain a productive research program that leads to publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals.
• Service
  :
  Contribute to the academic mission of the department, college, and university through committee work, curriculum development, and professional engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department head. Candidates must be a contributing faculty member to department and college service activities.
