Asc Renewables Developer - Intern​/Co-op Conversion

Job Summary

Individuals in this role have a working knowledge of the renewable industry landscape. They will have an understanding of the drivers of project economics, and the levers to optimize project economics. They possess strong financial, technical and risk management skills, and an ability to balance competing factors and drive complex projects in a fast-moving market environment. They are knowledgeable in utility interconnections, federal and state incentive programs, market electricity market dynamics and pricing, policy engagement, land origination, financial modeling, and energy market analysis.

They will be developing negotiation experience and financial and energy modelling experience along with fluency in financial concepts like IRR, NPV, and time value of money. Employees in this role are expected to hone skills and continue working more independently.

Proven negotiation experience with associated skills and results. Financial and/or Energy Modelling experience and fluency with financial concepts (IRR, NPV, time value of money, etc.) Advanced written and interpersonal communication skills. Advanced problem solving, project management and implementation skills.

Duke Energy internship or co-op experience.
