Construction Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

The Engineering Team at Russell Tobin / Pride Health is hiring a Construction Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing) for a world-class Life Science client near Raleigh, NC.

• Lead large scale capital investment and site master plan initiatives within an active manufacturing environment.
• Manage assigned construction scope
• Collaborate with onsite engineering, design teams, system owners and project engineering services to meet milestones
• Monitor daily field progress
• Proactively address site issues.
• Maintain strong construction safety culture aligned with internal safety standards and expectations.
• Review of monthly cost reports and payment applications
• Provide weekly updates on construction progress, risks, and key milestones
• Deliver monthly reporting on project financials, schedule status and risk profile
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and municipal authorities and local utility providers as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or comparable technical experience
• 10+ years of experience in engineering
• 5+ years managing capital construction projects
• MUST HAVE:
  Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical construction practices and regulated manufacturing environments
• MUST HAVE:
  Hands-on experience with pharma and biologics packaging facilities, equipment and packaging line installations

• 1 year contract with possibility for extension
• Project location:
  North Carolina. Hiring preference for NC, but would consider anywhere in the US, as long as they are willing to travel to NC an average of 50% of the time.
• Hybrid, 50% onsite
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST
• Pay rate range: $115-140/hr depending on experience

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
