Description

If you're a student looking to gain experience in Civil Engineering, consider DRMP. While classes and labs are a HUGE part of becoming an engineer, the real-world experience and hands-on application you gain through interning will solidify your decision to become an engineer and provide clarity to you path.

* Internships can last anywhere from 3 months to 24 months - depending on mutual interest and availability.

Through DRMP's college internship opportunity, students will gain practical experience while earning an engineering degree and exploring a potential career path in Engineering.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

* Assist in the production of preliminary and final engineering drawings for civil projects

* Prepare and check quantity tabulations

* Participate in engineering alternatives analysis by completing well-defined tasks including collecting and analyzing data, performing calculations, and evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions

What you'll need

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelors of Science degree program in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university

* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

* Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines

* Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment

* Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history

Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiarity with Micro Station and/or AutoCAD CADD platforms
