HDR is looking for a Traffic EIT/Designer to join our North Carolina Transportation Business Group. This role will be based out of one of the following offices:
Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, Winston-Salem, or Asheville, NC.

Responsibilities- Work as part of a traffic team under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager on a variety of traffic forecasting, analysis, engineering, and design needs for transportation projects.
- Conduct operational traffic analysis using modeling tools, from highway capacity software to micro-simulation models; analyze isolated intersections, roundabouts, urban arterials, and freeway segments.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- MS in Engineering or related field.
- EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months. If hired without EIT, the title will be "Traffic Designer" and EIT must be obtained for career progression.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Synchro/Sim Traffic, HCS, AutoCAD and Micro Station.
- Local candidates are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
