Metcon is growing, and we’re looking for a sharp, detail-driven VDC/BIM Coordinator to support our project teams and help drive coordination from preconstruction through closeout. We are seeking a VDC/BIM Coordinator who is passionate about using technology to drive efficiency, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow their expertise in both design and construction workflows.

• Manage/Support multitrade BIM coordination efforts from design through construction
• Develop and maintain federated models for coordination and constructability reviews
• Conduct clash detection and lead coordination meetings using Navisworks and other tools to identify and resolve conflicts prior to construction and field use
• Coordinate with project team members to assist in the management of shop drawing/model production in support of our self performance efforts
• Assist with model based scheduling, logistics planning, and visualization
• Support field layout teams with proper file for total stations
• Ensure drawings and models align with project execution

• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ACC (or similar platforms)
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
• Strong understanding of trade related BIM modeling and coordination workflows
  
  Ability to BIM model trade work when needed per project requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both office and field teams
• Experience with point layout and total station workflows
• Used or created 4D automations using CM Builder (or similar platforms)
• Detail oriented mindset with strong problem solving skills
• Selfstarter who thrives in a fastpaced environment
