Task Force Chief Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Task Force Chief Engineer to lead and oversee engineering operations within our task force based in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering leadership, project management, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure successful execution of complex technical initiatives.

• Lead and manage the engineering team within the task force to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals and project requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of engineering tasks.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Report regularly to senior management on engineering status, challenges, and achievements.

• Proven experience as a Task Force Chief Engineer or in a similar senior engineering leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and team leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.

This position is based in Raleigh, NC. Candidates must be willing to work on-site and collaborate closely with local teams.
