The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm
, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.
On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Raleigh office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.
AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Stormwater Engineer to join our Water Team. This position will be based out of our Raleigh office and will include the opportunity to work on projects both locally and across the state. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of water, wastewater, and storm management projects under the guidance of senior engineers, designers, technical specialists, and project managers.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of stormwater management, water and wastewater treatment, water quality improvement projects for a variety of clients across Florida.
- Conduct engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Carry out engineering analyses, prepare reports and technical specifications, under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Work collaboratively within project teams to ensure project objectives are met within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collect and analyze data, perform field work, undertake site inspections under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Attend site visits and meetings in clients’ offices.
- Maintain project records and files, contribute to the preparation of progress reports, communicate project and task updates to team members and supervisors as needed.
- Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
