Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced
Lead Planner/Scheduler to join our team to support scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale project. The ideal individual will have a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services. This role requires deep knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive project delivery excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor and update owners' Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Establish the schedule management program and deliverables to be used on large scale capital programs.
  • Interface with project stakeholders as trusted advisors to provide guidance and recommendations for the project.
  • Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
  • Coordinate closely with design, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure schedule accuracy.
  • Identify schedule risks and opportunities; provide mitigation strategies and recommendations.
  • Lead schedule review meetings and present updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and performance against the baseline schedule; produce look-ahead schedules and reports.
  • Ensure alignment between MEP installation sequencing and overall project milestones.
  • Analyze and incorporate vendor, subcontractor, and procurement schedules into the master schedule.
  • Support delay analysis, change management as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying,engineeringor field related to construction.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
  • Proven on site experience as a Senior/Lead Planner or Scheduler with Data Centre knowledge
  • Strong expertise in MEP systems and understanding of their design and construction sequencing.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical information.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, technically complex environments.
  • Experience across data centers, life sciences, and high‑tech manufacturing
