Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Raleigh, NC office location or working remotely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
* Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections.
* Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs.
* Understanding of general renewable energy nomenclature
* Assist with the development of scope, schedule and budgets for projects
* Assist with the management of projects and tasks
* Assist with marketing and proposal development
Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master's degree preferred
* 2+ years of solar structure design experience required
* PE License is a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, Excel
* Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development
* Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans is as plus
