Client is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Raleigh, NC office. This position involves mechanical engineering design for educational, government, healthcare, and industrial facilities, including the development of plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will be experienced in MEP building systems design and comfortable working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
This is a Permanent position that is required to be fully on site.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems for building projects, including HVAC and related building systems.
- Develop plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate design efforts with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP projects, with a focus on mechanical system design.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP is required.
- Experience producing mechanical design documents for buildings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD preferred.
- Plumbing design experience is preferred
