Bridge Design Project Manager

LocationThis position will have a hybrid work schedule and, when in the office, will work from our Cary office a minimum of 3 times a week.
The Impact You Will Have- Assist in the preparation of SOQs, proposals, and contracts
- Research local/state regulations as they pertain to projects
- Making presentations before elected officials and advisory boards, attending conferences, and participating in interviews
- Prepare technical analysis within a variety of specialist areas such as load ratings, bridge design, and finite element analysis
- Responsible for project management, including cost control, project budget control, and quality assurance/quality control
- Direct and manage the budgeting and execution of projects including the supervision of assigned staff and subcontractors
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
- PE License in NC required
- Experience with NCDOT preferred, but not required
- 10+ years of experience relating to structural engineering and/or project management
- Excellent communication, strong written, oral, and client relation skills, experience interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders
- Strong organization and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
