Lead Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer at the specialist level to solve complex problems, manage work, and provide leadership to others in engineering areas of specialization with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Provide engineering/technical expertise and guidance in identification, analysis, and resolution of complex problems within your area of expertise.
- Visualize long-term results and assess impacts on a system-wide basis.
- Ensure accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities.
- Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches, and recommend process enhancements and standards related to your area of assignment.
- Conduct engineering and related studies with full technical responsibility for planning and coordinating complex projects.
- Apply extensive technical expertise to manage projects and disseminate knowledge to enhance the organizational unit’s competitive position.
- Possess and apply broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures; analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes and develop standards relevant to your area of assignment.
- Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, procedures, and equipment.
- Develop positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and professional engineering (PE) registration.
- Minimum of 8 years of related engineering experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering considered in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree.
Travel required:
15-25%.
