Roadway EIT​/Designer

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans, and construction estimates.
• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar field.
• Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months (candidates without EIT will have the title "Roadway Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression).
• Ability to develop designs using Micro Station, GEOPAK, or other transportation design software packages.
• Proficient with Micro Station and/or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Open Roads Designer.
• MS Office experience.
• Preference is given to local candidates.
