Sr. Consulting Engineer; Generator

Join ENTRUST's Power Generation group as a part-time or full-time Sr. Consulting Engineer focused on supporting generator engineering activities. This position offers remote and hybrid schedule options with minimal travel required.

EN Power Generation provides independent third‑party engineering solutions to global power providers and plant operators. Its services cover conventional and renewable power as well as compliance, spanning plant conceptual design through operation and maintenance.

In this role you will serve as a subject‑matter expert and key resource for power‑plant consulting projects, focusing on electrical generators, exciters, and auxiliaries. You will interpret project objectives, develop actionable plans, and ensure schedule and hour targets are met or exceeded. You will prepare for client meetings, lead discussions, and demonstrate technical expertise in generator engineering to execute projects independently.

You will assist management with business opportunities, conferences, and training sessions, and interface with industry organizations such as EPRI. Field project execution is required, with travel up to approximately 10–15%.

• Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Engineering.
• 8–10+ years of proven experience in generator design, manufacturing, or service‑related roles.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering calculations, assessments, and analyses.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support projects and business development initiatives.

• Professional Engineering licensure.
• Advanced degree.
