Our Automation Engineers work on projects like developing and executing process control system integration projects and performing design, development and testing of electrical equipment and control systems, every day.
On a typical day you will:
- Program PLC's and handle HMI configuration and design
- Work on Commissioning, Troubleshooting/Testing/Debugging
- Handle Project Documentation
- Assist with quoting projects
- Write specifications, schedules and technical reports
- Interface with the client on technical matters
- Assist with estimates and proposals
- BS Degree in Engineering
- A minimum of five years’ experience in project-based automation and control engineering
- Experience working in the process-based industries (pharmaceuticals, biotech, food and beverage, and/or specialty chemicals industry
- Experience in consulting and / or system integration
- Experience with Rockwell, Emerson, and/or Inductive Automation preferred.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment is a plus
- Above average skills in planning, organization, time management and meeting clear standards and objectives
- Ability to be highly focused, self‑motivated and results‑oriented.
- Ability to practice proactive communication (both written and verbal) with colleagues, supervisors and clients.
- Ability to utilize past learning to understand and handle new situations and accept change as a challenge.
- Ability to make independent decisions (when required).
- Process Control and Information System Design / Development
- PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, and Network Configuration
- Electrical Design and Instrumentation Specification
This is a full‑time position and a hybrid work opportunity. We offer our Consultants a base salary, an incentive program and a full benefit package.
