- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions aligned with operational and production goals.
- Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Support data collection, storage, and analysis from automation systems to enable better decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in industrial networking, cybersecurity, and system design.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience with:
- Siemens S7 PLC programming (full system design experience required)
- Siemens TIA Portal

- Strong understanding of:
- Control system design and process automation

- Solid knowledge of industrial networking concepts, including architecture, protocols, and security.
- Experience interfacing OT systems with IT environments for data visibility and system integration.

- Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of operational data from automation systems.
- Understanding of data storage, retrieval, and analytics within industrial environments.
- Experience with Thin Manager (thin client management) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in regulated or high-performance manufacturing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- End-to-end automation system design
- Problem-solving and technical troubleshooting
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Systems thinking and architecture design
- Attention to detail and documentation
- This is a fully onsite position based in Clayton, North Carolina.
