Contract Equipment Lead – US, North Carolina – 12 Months Initial Contract
This is a unique opportunity for a Contract Equipment Lead to join a global leader in the life sciences market and play a key role in shaping the future of advanced manufacturing.
What you’ll do:- Develop and execute procurement strategies for large-scale pharmaceutical CAPEX construction projects, ensuring contracts are structured to meet business objectives.
- Support and oversee procurement, contracting, and delivery of major process equipment packages (e.g., bioreactors, autoclaves, skids, HVAC, clean utilities).
- Coordinate FAT/SAT readiness and ensure supplier documentation aligns with CQV and operational readiness deliverables.
- Monitor long-lead equipment schedules to ensure alignment with construction milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience in CAPEX procurement, construction contracting, or EPCM contract management within large-scale capital projects.
- Strong experience with construction contracts, supplier negotiations, and project execution in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical preferred).
- Expertise in EPCM contracts, working with general contractors, subcontractors, and engineering firms to ensure seamless execution.
