In this role, you will support the digital transformation of engineering-to-order (ETO) processes within a global power industry environment. You will work across the full value chain—from quotation and engineering to project management, manufacturing, and shipment—ensuring alignment with standardized processes and digital tools. Your work will help improve operational consistency, system adoption, and efficiency across multiple factories and regions. By partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and digital teams, you will contribute to the optimization of core systems such as SAP and MES while helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Your contributions will support the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of manufacturing operations, enabling the delivery of high-performance energy solutions and supporting the modernization of the power grid.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Support global digital program implementation by promoting adherence to standardized processes and systems
Drive effective use and adoption of core tools such as SAP and MES across the organization
Collect and synthesize business requirements from multiple factories and regions
Identify process gaps and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and consistency
Harmonize business processes across hubs and factories to align with global standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and address digital and operational challenges
Manage and analyze system-related incidents to improve overall performance and user experience
Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to support system adoption and knowledge transfer
Act as a change champion to encourage adoption of harmonized processes and reduce local deviations
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the US and/or Canada.
Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles related to business process management or program implementation in the manufacturing industry
Experience working with SAP modules SD and PS, with additional exposure to Production Planning or Materials Management
Proven ability to evaluate complex requirements and incidents, identify patterns, and propose effective solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage stakeholders
Experience supporting process changes and encouraging adoption of standardized practices
Fluent english (French is an asset)
