As a MES Engineer III for the Information Solutions team you will have overall responsibility to lead and develop projects with clients across multiple industry sectors primarily focused on Information Solutions scope, including MES, custom software, reporting, IIoT, data collection, and analytics.

• Lead and execute technical projects within the Information Solutions group, providing deliverables, maintaining schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Interface with clients to define and manage scope on complex projects, requiring significant technical knowledge and project leadership skills.
• Convey a positive image of Design Group and support the development of a strong culture consistent with our guiding principles of leadership.
• Plan project timelines and collaborate with various Project Managers to ensure proper execution of work.
• Leverage firm‑wide Design Group standards and procedures for Information Solutions projects, including participation on councils overseeing and adopting firm‑wide standards.
• Drive projects to completion and dive into technical details as necessary to support the project team’s direction and execution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key client contacts.
• Provide technical leadership to newer professionals and help grow the Information Solutions group’s technical capability.

• Minimum 6 years of experience developing and providing software solutions for the consumer products, life science, and/or industrial industries.
• Technical experience including architecting and implementing MES, data collection/reporting systems across various platforms.
• Strong preference for experience with Ignition, Sepasoft, or custom MES/database development.
• Prior experience as a system integrator is a plus.
• Experience developing in Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Git version control, or Figma is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in client interface and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for project activities.
• Minimum B.S. in Engineering or related field; other computer or software degrees considered with relevant experience.

Approximate pay range: $115,000‑$150,000. Salaries may vary based on background, skills, and geographic location.
