Responsibilities
- Maintain a zero-incident safety culture by following all safety policies, Life Saving Rules, and 5S standards
- Install, configure, and maintain lab equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
- Execute product testing in accordance with internal procedures and industry standards
- Collect, organize, and document test data; assist in report generation and documentation
- Fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies, fixtures, and prototypes
- Support lab maintenance, calibration coordination, and organization of test areas
- Develop and implement test methods to evaluate performance, reliability, and functionality
- Troubleshoot complex electronic circuits, power systems, and test setups to determine root cause
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and collaborate with engineering teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement of lab processes, tools, and methodologies
- Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics or related technical field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a lab, manufacturing, or technical testing environment
- Experience working in high-power lab environments (up to 600 VAC / 1000 VDC)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and power electronics
- Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power meters, data loggers, etc.)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for complex electronic systems
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Advanced certifications in electronics or power systems testing
- Experience with:
- Single-phase and three-phase low-voltage systems
- DC systems and battery technologies
- AC sources and load bank setups
- Wiring and instrumentation configuration
- Knowledge of electrical safety and hazard controls in high-energy environments
- Experience supporting validation, certification, and compliance testing
- Background in:
- Electronic component testing and parametric evaluation
- Electromechanical prototype fabrication
- PCBA rework and soldering
- Environmental and EMC testing
- Familiarity with schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools
- Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations
