Senior Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater Treatment

Are you an experienced, creative, and motivated engineer ready to make an impact? ms consultants is looking for someone to join our Water business unit, delivering clean water solutions to communities. You will collaborate with team members and work on design projects for water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, and stormwater solutions.

• Collect and review data, perform calculations, and prepare contract documents to assist with design.
• Assist project team staff on preliminary and final design documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit.
• Prepare preliminary engineering design reports or studies.
• Work on design projects involving treatment processes and hydraulic analysis, equipment selection and layout for water or wastewater treatment facilities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred or obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Water/wastewater treatment experience.

• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit is preferred.
• Experience with process modeling software is preferred.
• Familiarity with federal and state environmental rules and regulations.
• Ability to work both individually and in a collaborative, matrixed team environment.
• Exceptional critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
