Civil Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Site Civil Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of site development and minor roadway projects for municipal and private sector clients. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer with strong expertise in stormwater management, grading, drainage, erosion control, and land development projects.

• Manage civil site development and roadway projects from planning and design through permitting, bidding, and project closeout.
• Lead the design of grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, erosion control, and roadway improvement projects.
• Coordinate with clients, developers, regulatory agencies, and internal multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, engineering calculations, technical reports, construction plans, and permit applications.
• Provide project leadership, stakeholder communication, and construction-phase support while mentoring junior engineering staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in consulting engineering with a strong background in site development, stormwater management, grading, drainage, and erosion control.
• Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and grading and stormwater modeling.
• The ability and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including budgets, schedules, permitting, and client relationships. Being able to run the project cycle from start to finish.
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams.
