Supervisor, Engineering, Telecoms Engineering

Sigma Technologies, Ltd. seeks a Supervisor to lead field and design teams supporting telecommunications and utility infrastructure projects. In this role, you will coordinate daily workloads, oversee outside plant and network design activities, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and client standards. You will mentor technicians and designers, review project documentation and GIS data, track schedules and progress, and communicate with project managers and client representatives.

This position is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, leadership skills, and a desire to grow into broader project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule daily activities of field and design staff on telecom and utility projects
• Oversee outside plant and network design tasks to meet safety, quality, and client standards
• Review project documentation, drawings, and GIS data for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with project managers and client representatives on progress and issues
• Mentor and develop team members, providing technical guidance and feedback
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and safety requirements
• Prepare status reports and maintain accurate project records and documentation
