Water Resources Design Engineer-EIT​/PE

My well established client is looking for a an experienced designer to join the team and play a key role in designing and delivering water resources and civil engineering projects. This position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, work with a collaborative project team, and mentor developing designers.

• Design and prepare construction plan sets, grading plans, stormwater and erosion control plans
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and modeling
• Work with Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PCSWMM, StormCAD, Pond Pack, and related tools
• Support flood studies, drainage design, detention facilities, and stormwater management
• Coordinate with project teams, jurisdictions, and plan reviewers
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and permitting/submittal packages
• Participate in field work and as-built certifications as needed

• 2–5 years of water resources or civil engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, and H&H modeling software
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• EI certification or progress toward a PE license preferred
