Are you an Electrical Engineer with an EIT certification looking to build your career in MEP and building systems design?
A well-established engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer (EIT) to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers while gaining valuable experience designing electrical systems for commercial and institutional facilities.
Description:- Design electrical systems for commercial and institutional building projects.
- Prepare construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Assist with the design of power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
- Gain exposure to fire alarm, telecommunications, security, and other building technology systems.
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, plumbing engineers, and other project team members.
- Participate in field investigations and construction site visits.
- Review equipment submittals and support projects through the construction phase.
- Apply NEC, NFPA, and applicable electrical codes to project designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- EIT certification or successful completion of the FE exam preferred.
- Approximately 3+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience.
- Experience with commercial building electrical systems or MEP engineering is highly preferred.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Knowledge of the NEC and NFPA.
- Strong communication, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
