Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking dedicated Mechanical Engineers to support the design, development, testing, and production of power generation and power distribution equipment. Join our dynamic team to work alongside Engineering and Manufacturing departments, guiding products from initial concept through to production and validation. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for early-career engineers eager for hands-on experience in product design, manufacturing, and testing, while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support the full lifecycle of products from concept to production.
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and production of power generation and power distribution equipment.
- Engage in cross-functional engineering collaboration to ensure successful product development and validation.
- Take ownership of engineering tasks, driving them from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Approximately 0-3 years of experience, including internships, co-ops, or hands-on engineering project experience.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and product development.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to manufacturing environments and testing and validation activities.
- Organizational abilities and the ability to work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a product development environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
The role is primarily office-based with regular engagement at our manufacturing and R&D facilities, as well as job sites as needed. The work environment emphasizes hands-on engineering experiences rather than purely desk-based design work, offering a chance to gain exposure to both design engineering and manufacturing. JobType & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
