Job Description & How to Apply Below

Launch your engineering career in water services through a structured entry-level opportunity designed for new graduates in 2027. As an Entry Environmental Engineer, you will contribute to projects that support safe, reliable, and sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure. You will work alongside experienced engineers, scientists, project managers, and field specialists while developing practical skills across the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities may include assisting with the planning, design, assessment, and delivery of water and wastewater projects; preparing technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and regulatory documentation; supporting environmental investigations, sampling programs, and field assessments; and reviewing data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement. You may also help coordinate contractors, communicate with clients and stakeholders, participate in site visits, and contribute to project schedules, budgets, quality assurance, and health and safety requirements.

The role offers exposure to water treatment, wastewater systems, stormwater management, environmental compliance, asset planning, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Applicants should be completing, or have recently completed, a bachelor's or master's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, water resources, or a related discipline, with graduation expected in 2027 or eligibility to graduate around that time. Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound analytical ability, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in environmental and water-related challenges are essential.

Familiarity with engineering software, data analysis tools, geographic information systems, or technical reporting will be beneficial, but full training will be provided. You should be willing to learn, collaborate effectively, manage competing priorities, and work in both office and field environments. A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to project sites may be required.
