Advanced Software Test Engineer

As a Software and Test Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify and troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes. Your expertise in SQL Server, C#, Phyton language, and Visual Basic will be instrumental in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.

This role will require travel to various contract manufacturing sites to oversee manufacturing test equipment and ensure compliance with quality standards. You will report directly to our Director of Advance Manufacturing Engineering (AME) and you'll work out of our headquarters in Raleigh, NC on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the quality and performance of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of reliability and functionality.

YOU MUST HAVE Minimum of 5 years of experience as testing engineer at manufacturing sites. Implementing test programs  and test equipment from scratch and/or making additions to current test program using languages described below. Strong knowledge of SQL Server, C#, Phyton, and Visual Basic.  Minimum of 2 years of experience with firmware download and flashing microprocessors.  Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.  

Minimum of 2 years of experience with Database & server management.  Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining Computers and Servers. Willingness to travel to contract manufacturing sites as required. ( ~ 10% ) WE VALUE Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electric/ Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Experience in contract manufacturing or a similar industry.  Knowledge of Flash JTAG testing methodologies.  

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Manufacturing experience in high volume/ low mix and high mix/low volume environments.
