Vendor Account Research Specialist

Primeritus Financial Services is a national provider of repossession management, remarketing, titled, and skip tracing services to the automotive finance industry in the United States and Puerto Rico. Primeritus provides clients with value-added, outsourced repossession management, skip tracing investigations, and remarketing services by leveraging a national network of certified agents and unique investigative techniques to quickly and reliably secure customers’ collateral.

As a Vendor Account Research Specialist at Primeritus Financial Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate billing and vendor payment processes. You’ll collaborate with repossession agents, validate transactions, and support financial integrity across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys investigative work with a financial lens. This is an in‑office role working Hybrid from our Raleigh, NC office.

• Analyze and verify vendor transactions for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
• Approve agent invoices and fees using internal systems (e.g., IBEAM, RDN, Net Suite).
• Communicate with agents to confirm charges and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve past‑due invoice inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for all billing activities.
• Support ad hoc projects and process improvements as assigned.

• High school diploma required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with GAAP and billing/accounting systems.
• Experience in repossession or financial services preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

This is a full‑time, in‑person position working Hybrid from our Raleigh, NC office. The position is sedentary and requires sitting for long periods of time while working on a computer or using other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift or move items up to 30+ pounds.
