Overview
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
The Business Analyst III will support Treasury Operations within the Business Solutions & Controls Group, with a primary focus on Investment Operations. This role partners closely with Treasury Operations, Business Risk & Controls, Technology, and Treasury to support the delivery of initiatives across the trade lifecycle.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives supporting critical investment and treasury infrastructure, with exposure to complex products, enterprise platforms, and cross-functional stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of investment operations workflows and hands‑on experience with front‑to‑back systems such as Murex, Calypso, or Aladdin.
ResponsibilitiesTreasury Operations Controls
- Support the development, documentation, and maintenance of Treasury Operations controls, procedures, and standards
- Assist with risk assessments, control design, and issue remediation activities (e.g., audits, exams, self‑identified issues)
- Ensure solutions align with operational, control, and regulatory requirements
Business Analysis & Change Support
- Lead business analysis activities for initiatives impacting Investment Operations
- Partner with middle and back‑office stakeholders to define business requirements and process flows
- Support test case development and issue resolution
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within financial services
- Strong documentation skills (BRDs, process flows, procedures)
- Prior hands‑on experience with front‑to‑back systems, platform implementations, or major system upgrades
- Experience supporting Investment Operations, Treasury, or Capital Markets
- Knowledge of post‑trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, and accounting flows
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar delivery platforms
If hired in NJ, the base pay for this position is generally between $98,175 and $130,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non‑discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
