Assistant Controller​/Controller

We are seeking a hands‑on Assistant Controller / Controller to lead and strengthen our accounting function within a growing organization.

This leadership role requires strong full‑cycle accounting experience and the ability to prepare accurate financial statements while building scalable systems and developing team members. The position will actively participate in month‑end close and financial operations while driving process improvement, documentation, and operational discipline.

Retail or inventory experience is beneficial but not required. Strong full‑cycle close experience and financial statement preparation are essential.

• Lead and actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Own full‑cycle accounting processes from journal entries through financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and reconciliation accuracy.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthend close.
• Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

This is a hands‑on role — the Assistant Controller / Controller will remain directly engaged in core accounting activities and close execution.

• Experience in retail, inventory based, or multilocation environments.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Experience operating in growing or evolving organizations.
