Position Information
Requirements and Preferences
Work Schedule 40 hours;
Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm Other Work/Responsibilities

Minimum Experience/Education
* High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Department Required Skills
* Ability to accurately process financial transactions and maintain financial records.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in data entry and documentation.
* Knowledge of basic financial processes, procedures, and accounting principles.
* Ability to provide excellent customer service and support to internal departments.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and experience working with financial or administrative systems.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
* 1-3 years of experience in administrative, financial, accounting, or business operations support preferred.
* Experience processing financial transactions, reconciling records, and supporting financial systems preferred.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial data and documentation.
* Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders.
* Experience with financial systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or university/government financial processes preferred.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data management tools preferred.
