Key Responsibilities
There isn’t an average day for a Real Estate Tax Senior Manager – you’ll spend your time on a variety of tax planning projects for a diverse client base, providing up‑to‑minute tax advice. You will lead teams and collaborate closely with colleagues and clients.

- Identifying opportunities and risks and communicating them to clients.
- Researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Building client relationships and demonstrating deep industry knowledge.
- Developing clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities.
- Researching clients’ business operations to tailor advice to their specific needs.
- Supervising a motivated team and ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- CPA certification or admission to a state bar.
- 7‑10 years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
- Extensive knowledge of partnership taxation, REITs, partnership allocations, compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
- Experience managing budgets, people, and projects.
- Business development within the market.
- Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
- Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
- Ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
- Strong influencing skills and confidence to question existing processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

Benefits- Compensation:
Base salary range $147,400 to $336,800 (US) with higher ranges for major metros. - Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and paid time off.
