The Project Finance Manager will provide global project finance support to the Executive Director, Global Project Finance across multiple Service Lines  position supports revenue recognition, revenue and backlog forecasting, revenue overburn, and project profitability, and collaborates with Project Management, Functional Leadership, Corporate Operations, Billing, and FP&A teams. It also includes regional finance support for certain Clinical Trials or Studies that require customer‑facing financial support, analysis, and reconciliations.

• Support the Project Finance function for Clinical Trials under the CRS Service Line, serving as PFM lead/liaison to both internal and external stakeholders to oversee regional Customers, Projects, and Programs.
• Oversee budget oversight, revenue recognition, billing, backlog forecasting, and provide insight into project profitability.
• Support Project Management and Functional Leadership regarding budget control, budget supervision, and finance‑related Customer/Client requests.
• Partner with other service lines (Pharmacovigilance, Quality & Compliance, Regulatory Sciences, Medical Information, Research Development & Technology) to manage budgets, support revenue and backlog forecasting processes, and participate in NNB.
• Assist in building out a Company Backlog Roll‑forward and in analyzing project profitability, pricing/margin analysis, and revenue overburn.
• Support the Financial month‑end close process to accelerate timelines.
• Harmonize and improve the Global Project Finance processes, driving future improvements within our ERP system, Workday.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Billing teams to analyze project and client profitability, delivering actionable insights within Service Lines.
• Collaborate with BD/Sales to capture/reconcile NNB across Service Lines and understand how that translates to future revenues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• B.S./B.A. in accounting or finance preferred.
• Eight or more years of experience managing an accounting and/or finance function in a growing, medium or large‑size company.
• Above‑average proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information accurately.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including influencing others outside the direct management sphere.
• Collaborative partner mindset to facilitate organizational growth.
• Creative problem‑solving and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working autonomously and delivering solid results within reasonable time frames.
• Physical ability to walk, stand and move about for long periods of time with equipment in the field, and sit and type for long periods of time.
