Business Connect Advisor

• Advise a pool of Commercial Community Bank clients with complex depository/treasury, lending, and wealth relationships through a virtual delivery environment

• Build relationships and conduct advising conversations with complex clients and prospects

• Partner with Integrated Relationship Management teammates to deliver tailored solutions and exemplary service

• Identify opportunities through value-added lifecycle conversations

• Translate opportunities into actionable Truist products and solutions

• Use networks and contacts to identify and engage prospects and convey Truist’s value proposition

• Deliver strategic business reviews that drive revenue growth, retention, and exceptional client service

• Conduct pre-call planning, advising, and follow-up

• Process complex transactions involving multilayered business structures, deposit and treasury needs, and intricate lending structures

• Manage product and solution opportunity pipelines through fulfillment, including deposits, loans, and fee-based services

• Maintain subject matter expertise on Truist capabilities, solutions, and industry/market trends

• Participate as an individual producer within a Business Connect Squad

• Mentor and guide teammates as requested

• Adapt to technology enhancements and advise clients on new digital solutions

• Escalate concerns promptly

• Meet or exceed designated performance metrics

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent financial services education, training, and work-related experience
• Four or more years of Business or Commercial Banking sales (or relevant) experience, with a demonstrated ability to drive for results
• General knowledge of business banking products, lending, cash cycle, sales process, and current market/industry/business knowledge
• Relationship-building and negotiation skills with clients, management, and partners
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and virtual connectivity software
• Proficiency in business acumen, interpersonal savvy, priority setting, dealing with complex interactions, and problem solving
• English language fluency required
• Ability to comply with operational, risk, and credit requirements
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Preferred:
  Completion of a credit training course or cash cycle training course
