** Description of Work
** DNCR Human Resources is seeking a well-rounded Time, Leave and Benefits Specialist to join our team! The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and serve as the Benefits Specialist for all employees within the Divisions of Archives and History, Land and Water and Museum of Natural Sciences. The position provides support for permanent and temporary staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Process all actions and associated documentation for temporary employees.
• Process various actions and auditing time/leave entry in an HRIS and ensure accurate records for all employees.
• Interpret time/leave policies and procedures and research and resolve time/leave issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Workers Comp administration and claim entry.
• Manage service awards program by processing orders and confirm receipt of awards.

**** Recruitment Range: $37,377-$50,059

** Candidates meet the minimum qualifications of this position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. Vacancy specific knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) and/or management preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following are preferred:
* Demonstrated experience with SAP/HRIPS.
* Demonstrated experience with temporary employee processing.
* Demonstrated knowledge of HR policies and/or procedures.
* Demonstrated experience with Smartsheet.
** Position/Physical Requirements
*** Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8-5, with flexibility 40 hours a week.
* ** This position is deemed eligible for hybrid telework under DNCR’s Telework Policy.
