Halifax County Government is seeking a Deputy Sheriff to perform general law enforcement duties, keep the peace, and protect lives and property within Halifax County. Responsibilities include taking calls, serving the public, investigating crimes, traffic enforcement, and executing court papers.
Work is performed under supervision of a lieutenant and sergeant. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21, possess a NC driver’s license, be a U.S.
