About Wake Radiology: Wake Radiology is a leading outpatient medical imaging provider in the Triangle. We are seeking skilled and compassionate PRN Medical Sonographers in the Raleigh and Cary offices. The Medical Sonographer will primarily focus on breast imaging and will assist in performing breast biopsies in collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff. Our mission is to shape the future of medical imaging in the Triangle by providing an unparalleled experience with results-driven and compassionate care.

• Provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging with a focus on breast imaging.
• Assist in breast biopsies in collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure patient comfort.
• Document findings accurately and maintain thorough patient records.
• Support operations at alternate office locations as needed.

• Passionate about making a tangible difference in patients  lives by providing clear images for accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.
• Compassionate care, with the ability to clearly explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Proficient in performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and documenting findings.
• Completed a 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.
• RDMS registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire.
• Shift is TBD.
• Position may require support at alternate office locations.
