Private Duty Caregiver

Overview

Assisting Hands Home Care provides quality, non‑medical home care for seniors in their homes, independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings. We are looking for an experienced caregiver to assist clients with mobility, personal care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Full‑time or part‑time positions are available throughout the Greater Columbus area. Candidates must have prior formal or on‑the‑job training, be willing to work every other weekend, and ideally be a licensed, insured driver who can transport clients to appointments and outings.

• Assist clients with mobility and ambulation.
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Remind clients to take medications and manage medication schedules.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Transport clients to appointments and outings (if licensed driver).
• Maintain accurate care records and report any changes to the agency.
• Act as a compassionate and reliable supporter for clients and their families.

• Passion for serving the elderly and making a difference in their lives.
• At least one year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Reliable and professional with strong communication skills.
• Licensed, insured driver preferred; must be able to drive clients safely.
• Background check and drug screen clearance required.
