Employment Type: Travel – Travel MRI Tech Contract Job – Raleigh, NC

3x12 Nights – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5:00p – 5:30a

• Verify patient identification and ensure compliance with facility policy
• Obtain and document patient history, including pregnancy status when applicable
• Demonstrate knowledge of MRI and cross-sectional anatomy
• Operate MRI scanners independently and proficiently
• Perform automatic contrast injections and establish IV access per protocol
• Determine contrast eligibility and review required lab values
• Administer oral and IV contrast safely following facility guidelines
• Maintain proficiency with PACS, EPIC, EMR systems, gateways, and image transfer tools
• Transmit, verify, segment, and QC images appropriately
• Interpret MRI protocols and select correct scanning parameters
• Troubleshoot equipment and protocol-related issues
• Ensure accurate charge capture and documentation
• Maintain organized workflow and clean work environment
• Precept new employees and students as needed

• Prior education, training, and experience to competently perform MRI duties
• ARRT registered (MR)
• Active BLS certification
• Demonstrated competency with contrast administration and IV placement
• Experience working with PACS and EMR systems
• Strong independent workflow management skills
