As an AFL provider, you will have an individual come to live with you who possesses intellectual developmental disabilities and/or possibly mental health challenges. Position and LocationEasterseals PORT Health is seeking a person interested in becoming an Alternative Family Living (AFL) Provider in the following location:
Raleigh, NC.
- As an AFL provider, host an individual who possesses intellectual developmental disabilities and/or possibly mental health challenges in your home.
- Offer a stable and caring home where they can live, grow and integrate into the community, working toward goals of daily living skills and increasing independence.
- Connections will be made to ensure the individual is matched with the “right fit” and may include supporting day program attendance or other services in addition to residential supports provided by AFL.
- CNA or DSP experience is preferred.
- This is an opportunity for an independent contractor and is not an employment position.
