Overview
The Cardiovascular Testing department uses state of the art equipment, by Registered Cardiac Sonographers to perform normal and abnormal Cardiac anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology. The Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of Ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the Cardiovascular system (at multiple ambulatory locations). Demonstrated proficiency must be in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.
The Registered Cardiac Sonographer will also understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, values and management of the division of Cardiovascular Services.
